Terms of service
These terms govern use of the Loki Eye software, website, accounts, and paid licences.
Licence
The free edition may operate up to two cameras. A paid licence enables unlimited cameras on one recorder machine at a time. A yearly licence renews each year; a lifetime licence is paid once, does not expire, and includes future updates for as long as Loki Eye is offered. A separate licence is required for each additional recorder machine. The free edition can be viewed only on the recorder machine; viewing from other devices on your network requires an active licence.
Payments
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and reseller for Loki Eye purchases. Card and other payments may be handled by Stripe on Lemon Squeezy’s behalf. Your purchase is also subject to their terms, and they are responsible for charging applicable taxes, issuing receipts and invoices, and handling payment disputes. We never receive or store your full card details.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for installing and securing Loki Eye, maintaining backups, complying with surveillance and privacy laws, obtaining required consent, and ensuring your cameras and network are lawfully operated.
Availability and updates
We may provide fixes and updates, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with every camera, codec, network, or storage device. Internet access is periodically required for licence validation; the app includes an offline grace period.
Acceptable use
You may not bypass licence limits, extract signing secrets, resell keys, interfere with the service, or use Loki Eye unlawfully.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent allowed by law. It is not an emergency, safety, or life-critical system. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Business details
Final legal entity, registered address, governing law, and jurisdiction must be inserted before the public production launch.
